Apparently researchers are spending time trying to figure out how to reduce the amount of methane produced by livestock. It seems that livestock contribute tremendously to greenhouse gas production and in fact, have more greenhouse gas production than cars.....now there is a thought. And what about humans, it is not as though they don't create an enormous amount of gas as well. Researchers are trying to change the diet of livestock to see if it will help reduce the amount of methane produced by the animals.....another thought, humans could become vegetarians and stop raising livestock. Not that, as I a dog, I am a vegetarian or that I don't produce gas...it is just an idea.
My sister in law had to put her husky down today because the dog was suffering from an aggressive bone cancer for which there was no cure. Here is a picture of her with her best bud, Mika, having fun in the snow.
